Side note, can we avoid that this time? |
we are not actively asking pitchfork (or anyone else) to review the album.
there is no reason to push someone to review the album.
Barsuk sends out review copies to whoever is their press list.
if they decide to review it, great! if not, then that's ok too.
please don't hassle pitchfork (or anyone else) about reviewing Bazan.
the best way you can help is to get your friends to buy the album and come to the shows.
thank you.

| I don't put any weight in the critic's opinion - though, deep down I would love to see a glowing review of the album in Rolling Stone. |

Do people still read Rolling Stone? I read a blog somewhere that suggested the only people who read reviews in Rolling Stone are the people who created the album or already own it. I guess that would mean us. I use to read it before the internet... _________________ just say maybe. |

i got a subscription to rolling stone a while back, but the only good thing about that magazine these days (usually) are the articles written by matt taibbi. i would venture to say he's the best they've got and he doesn't even write about music. occasionally there's a decent article about some classic band, but usually they just cover the jonas brothers or britney spears these days. _________________ Bookstores have always been a great place for liars and sexual predators.

| my roommate had a year subscription to rollingstone so i picked it up a few times and flipped through it. I remember a cool article about the allman brothers piano player. There were some other interesting articles, but I don't really remember them as of right now. |
