Bob, out of curiosity, was the small tour that Dave did in Australia a few years ago a success? What was the incentive for coming here particularly then when he hadn't even dropped a solo LP yet? Lastly, is there any future plans to tour here again before he starts recording a new album? _________________ if it isnt penetration then it isnt worth a kiss |

the tour was set up by a friend of ours. the shows were well-attended. but hard to make it financially worthwhile because the travel is so expensive. much like europe... there needs to be a certain level of demand and level of financial guarantee to make something like that possible.
it's not like in the USA where Dave can jump in a van and build up a touring fan base one show at a time until it's profitable. _________________ "Your revolution is over. Condolences. The bums lost." |

While Bob's answering questions...
Is it looking like the Vancouver house show(s) will actually happen?
I don't live there, but I'll make the drive. |
