Hooray for so much press. Go Dave! Smile

I wonder if P-fork with review this or just choose to ignore it entirely? I noticed they took down the particularly scathing Winners review.

So should we anticipate a review will be forthcoming from pitchfork or not?

cailet, have you ever heard triple J play any PTL or Bazan? I have never.
I sent Kingsmill an email on his '2009' segment informing him of the new Bazan album, but no reply.

never heard a thing.
nor FBi.

i think that bazan is probably not cool enough for the j's, you can start to get into their rotation and start to dig their music, but in the end i think they're really close minded, hipster wanna-be mother fuckers.
i'm not even sure why i am this bitter about the station.

ah well.

well, this is sort of weird. i just heard that Curse Your Branches will be on the Billboard Charts.

#1 new artist debut album

#1 alternative debut album

#116 Billboard Top 200 album

thank you all for your amazing support!

now go buy another copy of the album so we can move up the charts next week.

Wink

Awesome. Now all Dave needs is a music video where he plays a guitar solo, bare chested on a mountain top, shot in helicopter view.

Sell out! Next thing you know he'll be buying clothes for the kids and paying his bills on time. What happened to the values of independent credibility???
