Cincinnati, OH - 9/11/14

Postby sherpa141 » Fri Sep 12, 2014 6:29 am

My younger brother attended this LR show last night and called to tell me about it afterwards. Apparently a guy was singing along while crying during the first four songs. During the first Q&A a girl said she had paid to hear Dave, not the crying guy. The crying dude then requested "Rapture" and when Dave declined, crying dude started crying more and said "that's my life right now" and left the show.

Trying to get lil bro to write a review and post it on this piece.

Just to be clear, from my brother's account the girl said she had paid to hear Dave sing, not hear the crying guy sing. What does Christ have to do with this? My brother didn't give the impression that anyone treated the guy poorly or was cruel to him. Was Dave un-Christlike for declining to play rapture, though? PROLLY.

i took the t.i. john quote as sarcasm. maybe i was off.
a show with strangers doesn't seem the place to work out marital issues.

it does sound like dave and bob might want to explore sing-a-longs
could be a real money spinner. could make a dvd.

Sarcasm is totally not Christ-like.
