i'll be coming out of my hibernation for this house show.

You're probably going to be disappointed. I just got back from the Asheville show and it was almost entirely stripped-down reworkings of late-era King Crimson songs.

Double Trio or GTFO

(just kidding, the correct answer is Discipline)
I'm just one too many mornings and a thousand miles behind.

Really great show. Curious Organs opened, as usual, with his grinder monkey, Curious Georgans, and they did some good new stuff, including a new one called "Harmful Sparks" about STD prevention, I think. Dave's gouty toe was in remission so on doctor's orders he played barefoot and gently riffled poker chips with his toes while he played. By the end of the night his toes were festooned in a snakeskin cowboy hat and inexplicably reflective sunglasses and were up on the house by $45,000 with a chance for all the marbles. The setlist was similar to yours in Dragonjewelry, NC. Respectful crowd, lovely conversation and mindblowing magic tricks to end the evening. Wish you were here.
#9 in your program, #1 in your heart.
