Five Iron Frenzy vinyl

Postby Cassavetes » Mon Nov 29, 2010 8:14 pm

now, i know this is a stretch posting it here but I have no idea where to find these super fans...
I have all four of their vinyls singles, including their outrageously rare, very first release 'It's Funny but not Very Creative.' It went for some 150 on ebay like 10 years ago. I haven't seen it anywhere since. The others have gone for 50 or so, but I also haven't seen them anywhere for quite some time.

These are very rare and I'm sure there are people who still care about these items, any idea where to sell them?

Still on Ebay. If you are wondering what records cost. Use Popsike.com

They still can go for that amount. Best of luck.

I had the "Brad Is Dead" 7" for the longest time. I sold it for like $20 on eBay a few years ago (it didn't have the sleeve).

I'm serious, I'm interested in FIF and PTL 7"s.

Well, I ended up finding a generous buyer for the FIF vinyl.
And, unless that Bazan buy it now auction sells, I will likely hold on to my bedside recordings for a while until after I get a job and then lose it.

Cool. Did you end up with a pile of cash? I'm interested to see how much they sold for.

I feel like I remember an interview with Reese Roper a long, long time ago where he said that Pedro the Lion was his favorite band.

Am I making this up?

I never heard that, but it doesn't seem like a stretch.

Dave said Brave Saint Saturn was his favorite band (I'm kidding, nobody ever said that).

I also doubt that's true, but I could believe it was another member. I had heard them mention him and seen many of the guys (I don't think girl) at shows over the course of many years.

I remember getting those ads for their vinyl releases back in the 90's with different things I would order...shoulda got them all but didn't, oh well. I had the FIF miniature golf 7in but sold it years ago, think I only sold it for 15 bucks and now they sell closer to 35-40.

Fuck you.

Kidding.
Any idea what Starflyer 59's "Goodbyes Are Sad" 7" would go for?

My cousin has a Starflyer Gold misprint.
The spine of the cd says "Starflier 59"
I can't imagine how rare that is
