http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Senate_OK ... _0212.html

no one has to read that, i'll paste why i quoted it:

"Sens. Barack Obama (D-IL) and John McCain (R-AZ) took some time from campaigning for Tuesday's slate of "Potomac Primaries" in Maryland, Virginia and Washington to swing by the Capitol and vote on the amendments. Obama voted for the amendments to strip immunity from the bill, while McCain opposed the amendments and voted in favor of keeping immunity."

That's reason enough for me to vote for Obama in the general election. He doesn't want telecom to have immunity from lawsuits for helping the government warrantless-ly spy on us. McCain, of course, loves such bullshit.

Goddamn. Those companies may get immunity now thanks to this bill being passed Tuesday in the Senate.

Good post brah. I guess we'll have to swing our support from Paul to Obama. It's good to be realistic.

Also, just realized I wasn't a fan of Paul's immigration policies. Anyways.

Yeah... I realized that in theory RP has lots of great ideas, but they are completely impossible in the modern world.

Instead of government aid, RP also wants to rely on local charities and good-natured people helping others...I just don't know if our world can achieve that.

I'd vote for Obama over McCain/Huck anyday...

This could easily just be another political dirty trick, but if there's any truth to these reports, Obama will skate into the White House:

John McCain Affair?

you know why i think this is true?

Because if it was not true McCain would sue NYT for libel and defamation of character.

ya know, i would agree maybe if it was just some random whore he was banging. but she was a fucking lobbyist dude. that's pretty serious and news worthy when its about someone running for president.
