What a fun adventure that was.

Who all listened? Thoughts?

I have one episode to go, so I'll be back to discuss. When I listened to the first one without knowing the background of the show, I thought it was fiction. When I learned that it is 'real' I felt a little differently about it.

It's true about Leakin Park. No one knows where it is. None of my Baltimore friends had ever heard of it. Now they wish they hadn't.

Some of the show has been a little repetitive to me, but that's just the nature of the shows content. It's the kind of show where you literally have to pay close attention 100% of the time or you might miss something big. I tried listening to it on headphones at work one day and it did not go well. I had to start over again on the train.

Up until now, I think Adnan is probably innocent. He seems like such a nice person. But of course, that is the last thing he wants to hear.

Nice Podcast. I liked it but I felt like listening to the end offered diminishing returns. You kind of are at the same spot you were after three episodes as you are when you finished. There is value I think in that.

Half way through. Probably should stay away from this thread until I finish. Excited to finally watch the SNL bit when I finish.

Have others read this?

I realize that Jay wouldn't let Sarah Koenig interview him, but his story sort of strikes me as fairly believable, and makes you wonder how much Sarah just doesn't want to believe Adnan is guilty. Now, all of that said, it's clearly laughable that a jury convicted beyond a reasonable doubt on the basis of what was presented at trial, but...
I'm just one too many mornings and a thousand miles behind.

really loved the podcast, i put a few of my friends on to it too.

it's very difficult to know what to believe. i think, on balance, adnan probably did kill her, but as FW said I can't see how a jury found enough evidence to convict him based on what we heard in the podcast
