actual wine talk

Barefoot White Zinfandel is rather bloomin' yummy - if you're a bit of a fanny and like rose like me!

Aldi Kooliburra Shiraz Cabernet £3.50. The tipple of choice for the squeezed middle.

hey man. always lurking, just rarely posting!

have noticed the new 2 songs per month has really livened these boards up a bit too, which is a great thing. I really like reading everyone's posts, even if quite a lot of it goes over my tiny brain - surprising really as I genuinely have a large head!

Actually Faz, this looks good...

12th October Kins supporting Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at Manchester Academy 3. I'm really into Kins and saw them supporting Phantogram and been dying to see them again. CYHSY kind of passed me by at their peak, just never got around to listening to them, but I think Bob manages them and we know he has good taste.

I've been drinking tons of Vino Verde and Gruner Veltliners. Yum.

Won't be able to do the 12th mate as I'm having head-wetting/birthday boys' day out on the 11th, I suspect I will not be able to speak come the 12th!

November works for me. Probably the 14th at the Cockpit is best. Will I need to order tickets or just turn up? I'll PM you my number

Songkick says the Leeds date is cancelled, but I'll check that out with their management.

This has come out today...

Monday 17 November 2014
Broncho
Castle Hotel, Manchester, UK

My whole family (well the 8 year old can't go because it's not all ages) is going. This is a great punk band from Ohio and The Castle is a tiny room. You could experience sweaty poggoing McCuskers at this one.

Phantogram have cancelled the UK tour.

Clap Your Hands Say Yes on Sunday is still on but Kins are on at 7pm so early start!

I'll keep posting gigs until you make one.

I think Cymbals Eat Guitars will be over here in January. Love their latest album LOSE.

Sorry mate, not been able to get on the boards for a couple of weeks!

You go to a LOT of gigs, hey?! I like the sound of getting sweaty with the McCuskers on the 17th! Can I pay on the door or do I need to book a ticket?

Not sure about 17th. They are great but unknown over here but it's a tiny room, so it doesn't take too much to sell out. Probably best get a ticket only £7 plus whatever the ticket company wants to rip you off on top.
