Dammit, can't believe I passed your town actually. Yeah, definitely, let me know. You have my email address, right?

So everything happened a bit earlier than expected but I'm a dad now.

It's pretty great.

Thanks dude. :) At this point, I am inclined to agree. It's incomparable.

Wow how things have changed over the past year.. One year ago I moved from Chicago to El Paso, TX to help my in-laws with their business. We successfully built it strong, changed clientele from three patients a week to 20 a day (it was a healthcare clinic). We then learned how hard it is to work with family, especially when they aren't thankful that you dropped everything in your life to go help them with their business and move 2,000 miles away, fought a lot, had something really terrible happen with one of the family members living there (resulting in injury to my husband and I and arrest against the other person) so we left the shithole that El Paso is and came BACK to Chicago and just arrived here about two weeks ago. Now that the dust is settling it feels very strange to have lived through the past year and have very little change in a years time except your entire perception of the living world.

Hey all

wow, my last post in this thread is embarrassing so I'm gonna delete it after this. I was in a pretty immature and nasty place 3 years ago. But since then:

- I got a little older
- I finally broke free of about 7 years of on/off depression and started being happy
- I listened to more music besides Dave
- I started loving to do things besides music
- I started (trail) running
- and climbing
- and studying geology in school
- and spending more time outside
- I did a 30 mile run last weekend. It was chill. I'm gonna train for a 50 miler.
- I'm moving to alaska later this month to work for the spring/summer and make money for school
- and yesterday for the first time since at least June I wondered if Dave had any new music out...hello 14 brand spankin new songs that all fuckin kill. Vol 1 No 1 is my favorite pair so far, I haven't been this in love with Dave's music since CYB!

I didn't get divorced, but that was a while ago. Pretty happy about that. Weird as it sounds - a TW song was one of the last threads I was holding on to. - So thanks for that. And to Yuuki for the remix.
Started my own company. Probably going to crash and burn, but a hell of a run and doing something I really believe in for the first time in forever. I"m a happier person though I may be broke in a while.
To borrow some words from Nick Cave, I don't believe in an interventionist god anymore, but I do believe in love.
I do a lot less complaining and whining since I let god drift away like a helium balloon. That feels good.
I miss this place. I miss the board produced CDs. I miss logging in and finding seven new threads going.
Animals is my favorite song of Dave's recent bunch.
I hope everybody is okay - including FMJ -I'm sorry you had to go through a shit storm

I moved to Seattle and started a new career.

I have moments where I think it's amazing and I love it.

I also have moments where I think I'll live somewhere else.

I don't know. I've only been here 5 months. All in all, life is pretty exciting.

I hike and run all the time. The weather and the outdoors is phenomenal.

Hey guys, it's been a long time.

I moved to Salt Lake City from California about 5 years ago. When I moved out here I was a very broken person and have been slowly picking up the pieces since the move.

I'm now looking into moving to Austin by the end of summer maybe sooner if my job transfers me.

It's been almost 2 years since I posted... How's everyone been? Is Dave still making music? LOLZ

- Been at my current job for 3 years (the only job I've ever made it past the 2.5 year mark)
- Almost done my first semester at grad school - Pastoral Counseling at Loyola
- I'm engaged! Getting married in June.
I'm surprised this place still exists.
