As much as I hate the Lakers and I want them to fail, the NBA had no right to block that trade. It sets a horrible precedent and as things stand now, the Hornets will lose Chris Paul at the end of the season without getting anything back. With the trade, the Hornets would have made out well and I think there was great potential that the Lakers would have been worse off.

they weren't getting Gasol. They were getting Odom, Scola, Kevin Martin, and first round draft picks. That's really good for a player not resigning with you. Scola and Kevin Martin are great.

Martin and Scola are ballers, would have been great pieces for NO. I'm tentatively excited to see Odom play with a chip on his shoulder this year. He's fucking unguardable if his mind is right.

much better for the hornets now, eric gordon is an impact player who could have a joe johnson type ceiling (this is a compliment, i love joe johnson's game)

I really enjoy have the lakers trade odom for nothing that will help them immediately. Lets just hope howard doesn't find his way into shaq's footsteps again

Shit! The Lakers tried to unload Walton to the Mavs for a mini fridge. Deal was shot down. Mavs like their mini fridge just fine.
