I never really liked this song. I do like that one part though.

if it's once I've got it
if it's twice I don't
We're moved around like circus clowns
When laughter's in demand

Yeah, I love that song. Still, I think Magazines is the best. Priests and Paramedics and Transcontinental are a close tie at second.

As discussed in some other thread, this song never really caught my attention until a few months after AH came out and then I listened to it one day and just got it. I then listened to said song at least 679 times over the course of the next month.
its tiny body is see-through, I caught it swimming inside of you.

i really like both TW and PTL's versions of SWM, for different reasons.

I only have Blue Laws by TW (RIP) but, I always had that song as my favourite from AH.

I really like TW's version. It kind of reminds me of Jackson Browne, which is something I never noticed of his stuff on Blue Laws.

Thank you. Every time people write about how depressing Dave's stuff is, I want to explain to them how damn funny the lyrics to this song are. I mean really: 'click clack, now handicapped'? It's a masterpiece of black comedy.

And, oh yeah, start without me is a great song; also as mentioned on a previous thread, I often have to play it twice when listening to AH all the way through. I also play it on acoustic guitar and sing it about twice a day on average.
