I pre-ordered from Polyvinyl, and my download link worked last Friday for mp3’s, so I’ve been listening to those.

And everything else, obviously.

Hymn from Whole EP was instrumental.

Damn. That's true. Good catch.

Finally got to listen to this on LP today. Much nicer to hear the album through some tubes than the stream via my earbuds. The album was recorded quite well IMHO and really benefits from some decent gear. Especially faves wonderful vocal delivery. Lovely album but I wish I had just gone for the black LP over the early bird splatter. Seems a little noisey as I often find colored vinyl to be. Maybe I’m just nitpicking since I’ve been listening to mostly dead silent audiophile jazz albums as of late.

Today is the day we're officially allowed to say that this is the best album DB has ever made. Obviously have to spend more time with it, but it's really incredible.

It is super consistent! I love the majority of Dave’s output, but there are always a song or two on an album I don’t love. Cannot day this about the album. I will also say having never listened to any demos for this album made it more enjoyable. Sometimes I’m attached to demos and then like the album less.

So... this album is a bit of a gut punch at times right? I mean we can all get a good cry out of Quietest Friend if In the right mood right? We’ve all got regrets and mistreated people who didn’t deserve it.

The chorus to Quietest Friend is brutal. Really great album.

This arrived yesterday and I’m playing it to death. Love it. Erik Walters rocks too. Seen him as Silver Torches and with Telekinesis. He was in The Globes too, but never got to see them.

Praying for a UK tour now PTL has a European label.

Damn, I can't stop listening to Powerful Taboo. My only qualm with it is that it's too short. That chord sequence in "hold it in until your heart is blue" is so good.

Ha! I've been checking every day, wondering when it would happen. Now that it's done, I can go back to not caring about that site.
