I saw 'em play in Boston, and it was great. TW opened (also saw him about a month before) and was fantastic. I believe Brad taped that show as well, so we may see it appear at some point. I yelled out that the encore should be 2 hours of lower down, but alas, it was not 2 hours of lower down
Lo Tom is great. I'm remembering listening to it now and there were a couple of tracks that used the old "fade out" production technique and I was just thinking, "Damn... I wish they wouldn't have faded out there." Other than that... Great record.
On a related note, is it just me or is Starflyer 59 one of the MOST underrated groups of all time. I know it's mostly just Jason Martin so my question really is: Is Jason Martin one of the most underrated songwriters of all time? I love every Starflyer song I've heard. And in those early years he was really kicking ass with the distortion and the guitar solos. Man... one of my fav bands.
