That is decidedly NOT some weak shit that we don't need.

(It's the good shit we'd been craving.)

First,

I need to say I really love the latest Blanco/Care and Fruitless Research/Terrible Freedom, mostly electronic albums from Dave and TW,

but DAMN this is refreshing. Didn't realize just how much I was craving this sound...

Can't wait for this album.

I concur with everyone else, this track is really damn good. Does anyone know if Dave sings lead on all the songs or do they share vocals like the Overseas?

According to TW, Dave sings lead all tracks.

TW harmonies

Martin/TW guitar

Trey Many drums

Dave bass

Album releases July 14th I believe

I accept the challenge. TW's bass style is pretty distinct.

Thought it was a pretty safe rock song. Compared to care or the recent cover of the Devil in his Youth I am just okay with the new track.

I don't prefer it to any of the songs of the Overseas record (can you believe that thing is almost 4 years old?), which is the most recent Bazan-related material that is standard rock instrumentation, but it's still early in the game.

At the very least, I agree that it's refreshing to hear non-synth music again.
