Just finished my first listen. So far I rate it pretty cool.

Of course I'm out of state when this gets delivered. Anxiously waiting the first spin when I get home.

I received the record today and it's pretty great, after 1 listen. It's nice to hear a fairly straight forward rock album. It ended and I wanted more, so that's both a plus and negative I suppose. Anyway, my expectations were pretty high considering the line-up and the first 2 songs they released and I was not disappointed at all.

Lower Down- Fuuuuuuuuck is that what I needed right now. So good.

Too bad I forgot to preorder the vinyl and am relying on a stream. Hopefully the LP I just ordered comes soonish

So, a good friend of mine is a music journalist. Writes for Pitchfork/Spin/Paste/etc. I've had this album for 2 months and it's been so hard to keep quiet about it. But now that it's live... oh man.

How relieving does it feel to hear these guys playing traditional guitar rock again? So relieving.

Hard to believe they wrote these songs in about 2 days, because they all make some very good choices in their performances. These tracks don't feel like they were almost entirely off-the-cuff.

8 tracks feels just right.

Not to say I don't love the synth music Dave has been making (and TW, too), but this sort of rock is my bread and butter and they're just so good at it. I love when old friends get together to make music and you can tell just be listening that they all know each other's strengths.

Well done, Lo Tom.
